ProvidentPeople.Net: Serving One Another, Providing for Today and the
Future

I have some very good news for all of you. After some email exchanges over a few days and a very lengthy conversation, Mary Beth Gray as agreed to serve as our director when I step down. I am very comfortable with the decision, and the current PPN board has approved it.

Mary Beth is a very capable, organized person, and she has experience that will serve her well in this position. Additionally, she is available during daytime hours when her girls are in school which will be a real plus over my availability. Please join me in thanking her and welcoming her.

Mary Beth and I will begin meeting within the next few days to familiarize her with details and to begin migrating duties. I know you will all give her as much support as possible. She will likely have lots of questions as she encounters all the "firsts" along the way. I will continue to support PPN to a lessening degree until after the Walton Feed shipment details are complete. My commitment to Rosalia and the current board is that I will see the Walton Feed shipment to its conclusion.

Thank you to all of you who have expressed appeciation for PPN and for those of us who currently provide leadership. It has been an honor to serve. Many of you have told me how much you value PPN, and that you are willing to assist a new director. I'm sure Mary Beth will be needing your help! As a volunteer group, we function best when many people take on a small part of the duties.

For now, the best thing you can do is to tell your friends about PPN and the value it brings to your family.

Thank you, all!

Kathryn Vander Meulen
